A faster way to access, manage & use Twitter. Built with aiohttp.
Alokka is an asynchronous library wrapping the new v2 Twitter API endpoints. It's fast, simple to use, has sensible builtin utility methods & functions to use & most important, it's modern. It's an alternative to Tweepy that relies on being simple to use first & foremost.
Alokka is available on PyPi, so its easy to install with pip
. Run the following command & ensure you've a virtual environment set up already.
pip install alokka # You might've to use sudo, although it's discouraged
