As immersive as you allow it to be. The framework of the game is very outdated, but it gets the job done. Still a lot to be desired (better achievement system would be a great start), but I'm afraid a new game would have to be created to get a much better experience. Addictive, gets you out, gets you walking/running, and there are people playing it almost everywhere if you want to socialize. Amazing game.

I've played this game since release and over time it has become more and more money hungry. I love playing this game with friends but I find it harder to interact when they keep paywalling harder and harder. Raising prices on everything and making it harder to engage is an awful practice that hurts alot of the player base. Niantic is a scourge. Fix the bugs, fix the pricing and fix the avatars.

A fun game that is actually kinda helpful in making new friends. I'm sad about the routes, I walked one that shut down halfway thru and I didn't get credit, then I walked another to Playa Negra on Vieques and I didn't know it was route so no credits. No time or energy to revisit since we are on vacation. I wish it alerted you to routes or automatically started when you walked one. I wish routes were more user friendly, but my family and I do enjoy the game together ❤️
