I had no issues with WhatsApp until I got my Pixel Pro 9. The volume on all of my voice messages is so low the recipient can hardly hear me. This is not a problem with my phone. I have tested my voice recording on other apps and the sound level is perfect. I really wish somebody would look into this and figure out what is going on. I've seen on other forms that people with the new Pixel 9 are having the same issue.

This app is terrible. Besides all the obvious flaws of being owned by Meta, (terrible on privacy) it's not user friendly at all. Finding it impossible to transfer chat data from one device to another, none of the online trouble shooting works and they have no customer service to speak of. I wish it was not so widely used internationally, when multiple other apps exist (like signal to name just one) that work better.

I have been facing this issue when I'm trying to have phone calls or video calls. The call keeps disconnecting or the other person cannot hear me at all. Either we look or sound distorted or we the call ends suddenly. It has been happening since the past month. Whatsapp used to be my only primary source of communicating living abroad, now i have to use other means because it is slowly becoming unreliable. It would be better for whatsapp to fix all these bugs asap.
