About us

Co-laboring For A Better Present To Secure A Better Future | The Minnesota Cooperative Conflict Collaborative focuses on refining and re-assembling conscious—as well as unconscious—destructive images and perspectives within our society in order to foster and attain the deeper unity and diverse inclusion union we all hope for and desire. Our Points Of Clarity: Our Collaborative serves as an alternative to 2 main challenges in our local Minnesota community. First, the Collaborative was launched as an inclusive vision of conflict practitioners of all colors (Black, Brown, and White) to afford us all a truly unique and robust approach to problem-solving and dismantling systemic racism from which we all suffer. Second, our focus addresses the problem of inaccurately-termed *restorative* practices around our state. Our approach of working directly with schools (versus criminal legal entities) sidesteps the compounding problem of unconsciously perpetuating school-to-prison-pipeline realities for our children of the non-White color. Our Collaborative views it better to approach schools directly and assist with disciplinary action, than have our educators file law enforcement reports on their student attendees.
