We are so excited Andrew Donaldson's epic swim for Telethon7 returns this Sunday 20 October! Andy Donaldson is a four-time world record ultra-marathon swimmer from Perth. In July 2023, he became the first person to complete the Oceans Seven, the world’s seven toughest channel swims, within one year. Andy was also the solo winner of the Rottnest Channel Swim in 2021. This year Andy completed the Epic Swim Maui – a world-first 220km circumnavigation of Maui, Hawaii, that served as a powerful call to action for ocean health. Just last month, Andy broke the record for the 45.9km circumnavigation of Manhattan Island, in five hours, 41 minutes and 48 seconds. Proudly supported by Perron Institute, Team Andy’s Swim for Telethon 2024 will raise funds for Telethon and Youth Mental Health research at the Perron Institute.
