The VGX Foundation is proud to announce that we are progressing towards our Phase 2 with the SafeMoon Wallet Beta: During the first phase, we received a lot of beta testers that helped us find different bugs and improvements. In this new phase of the beta test, we implemented several patches and fixes based on the feedback and metrics that we gathered. Blockchain: Gaming’s Game-Changer In 2023, the gaming industry generated revenue for over $180 billion dollars, and it's expected to increase in the upcoming decade. With a foundation built on transparency, fairness and player-driven economies, the future of gaming is being recreated by blockchain technology. A blockchain is an unchangeable decentralized digital ledger that records data in a secure fashion for everyone to watch. We will go over some of the main benefits of blockchain in gaming in the graphic below:

Traditional Gamers and Crypto Gamers: Coming Together With blockchain technology on the rise a new age of gaming has been introduced: crypto gaming. What is GameFi? GameFi combines gaming with finance, allowing you to earn crypto or NFTs for playing. Things like characters, skins, weapons or even land can become digital collectibles. Blockchain technology tracks ownership of these in-game assets, which can have real world value and can be traded or sold by the player. It's like playing a game where you really earn for your achievements. An example of this is Voyager: Ascension available to play from Gala Games. In Voyager: Ascension players can purchase a season pass NFT from the Gala Games store. Players then accumulate "vpoints" in-game from their achievements and progress.
