Glad to have been part of this initiative, even if only in its early stages, before maternity leave :) As we strive to broaden the types of research contributions recognized in research assessment, it is important to address each new type of research output or activity (such as research software), not only from a technical or disciplinary perspective, but also through dedicated policies that look at the bigger picture.
