Exciting Times for Future Talent at Under Armour EMEA HQ in Amsterdam We kicked off our Fall/Winter #internship season by welcoming 13 new #Rookies into our 5-month project-driven program. They've already had an incredible start with hands-on retail experience and inspiring workshops at our EMEA HQ! To allow even more students to experience #lifeatUA, in the first week of October, we invited 10 talented students selected by our partner The New Fashion Society x Rotterdam University to join us at our EMEA HQ and our store in Amsterdam. Did you know one of the oldest high school football rivalries takes place in Under Armour's hometown of Baltimore?     Baltimore City College and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute have an iconic local rivalry that dates back to 1889. To gear them up for this year’s big game on October 26, we’ve partnered with DTLR, Inc. to co-create new school spirit Rivalry Packs. These exclusive packs offer fans of the Black Knights and Engineers spirited sweatshirts, t-shirts, and custom-color UA Gemini sneakers.     The community-inspired collab is an extension of our longstanding Project Rampart initiative - a partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools to elevate the Baltimore student athlete experience and improve academic outcomes through the power of sport. 115 of our Digital teammates gathered at our Baltimore HQ for the 2024 Direct to Consumer Hackathon—our second one to date! This week long event brought together teammates from four countries and talent from across Digital Product Management, Design, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Product Security, Architecture, and more —all to collaborate on game-changing ideas that will take our consumer experiences to the next level, powered by cutting-edge tech.   Throughout the week, our participants rocked their Hackathon tees and set out in teams of 10 to elevate our consumer experience with 5 awards up for grabs for the best solutions. The group also participated in a meaningful community impact event at Living Classrooms, all while bonding over pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for our consumers. Last week, all of our Baltimore corporate and distribution house teammates came together to celebrate Armour Day!   One of the best days of the year, #ArmourDay is a time for our teammates to join together to make an impact in our Baltimore community and bond with the #sqUAd over food, drinks, live music, fun activities and more!   Nearly 1,000 teammates participated in various volunteer efforts across the city as part of our Project Rampart initiative – a partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools designed to elevate the student athlete experience and improve academic outcomes through the power of sport. With support from USA Football, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maryland, Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and Heart of America, we were able to host a flag football skills and drills clinic for high school girls, a sports clinic for students grade 3-5, inspire young people at Junior Achievement, pack pre-game nutrition bags for our Project Rampart athletes, and make improvements to five local schools.   Learn more about Baltimore’s Armour Day ↓ https://lnkd.in/dfMtjNfn

Under Armour’s U.S. Rookie Program is a unique 12-week #internship experience that allows students across various majors to dive into real-world projects, collaborate with industry experts, and immerse themselves in the UA brand.   The highlight of the program is Rookie Week when we gather all of our U.S. Rookies at UA HQ for an opportunity to hear from our key leaders in person, meet and network with teammates, and participate in valuable skill building workshops, all while getting to experience all that Baltimore has to offer.   Are you interested in experiencing Rookie Week in 2025? Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates and honors the rich tapestry of cultures, histories and contributions that Hispanic & Latino communities have woven into the fabric of American society. At Under Armour, we will be celebrating around the theme, "Somos Iguales Pero Diferente", which means "We Are The Same, But Different", highlighting the cultural norms and values that define the Hispanic/Latino experience, along with nuances that make each country/region unique.   Throughout the month, we honor the milestones of independence in Latin American countries and the global influence of Hispanic culture. As a kickoff, our Teammate Resource Group UA Latino Alliance (UALA) gathered together for a dynamic panel discussion to celebrate the deep intersectionality of Hispanic and Latino cultures and explore our teammates’ inspiring journeys.   #LifeatUA #HispanicHeritageMonth
