Summary
[edit]DescriptionLongqingxia 龙庆峡 (5668676781).jpg |
Longqingxia is a gorge located in Yanqing County, a rural part of Beijing located north of the Great Wall. This is the last stop on my 3-day Beijing tour. Longqingxia was formed by Gucheng Stream, and was dammed in 1981 to form a reservoir. Due to the name which refers to dragon (龙), dragon motifs can be found here and there in the tourist infrastructure. |
