Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is a charitable organization based in the United Kingdom.[1] The charity was founded in 1991 as the Roald Dahl Foundation by Felicity Dahl, in memory of her husband, children's author Roald Dahl.[2]
The charity provides specialist support for seriously ill children across the UK[3] by providing 'Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses' to support children and their families,[4] sponsoring over 120 clinical nurse specialists[5][6] to work within NHS Trusts[7] to provide practical and emotional support to children with complex, often life-long, medical conditions.[8]
