RT Documentary (RTD) is a documentary channel presented in both the English and Russian languages.[1] The television channel was launched on 23 June 2011 by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev who visited RT’s studio in Moscow,[1] and deals with a wide variety of topics including Russian culture and life in Russia. The channel shows documentaries mostly on Russia but also from around the globe.

The channel was replaced by Fox Kids on 19 August 2018.

Availability

The channel is available as a free-to-air channel on Eutelsat Hot Bird. The Russian government has not erected any legal restrictions on the worldwide distribution of the channel as a live video stream via the internet. The channel is live streamed off of RT's main website along with the other RT video streams.
