שאלה: איך לתקן את הערכים בקטגוריה:ערכי אישים שחסרים מידע ויקינתונים/חסר מגדר?
תשובה: יש שני סיבות שבגללם ערך יופיע בקטגוריה הזאת.
א. לערך אין דף בויקינתונים.
ניתן לייצר דף ע"י ההנחיות בעזרה:ויקינתונים. אח"כ צריך לעבור אחרי ההוראות שבסעיף ב' להלן. אפשר להשתמש בכלי [5] כדי לייצר בצורה ממוכנת.
ב. לערך (כבר) יש דף בויקינתונים, אבל חסר שם את ה"statement" ("קביעה") שאומרת אם הנידון הוא זכר או נקבה.
יש שתי פתרונות:
ב1. פתרון ידני
- לוחצים "פריט ויקינתונים" מהפתריט הצדדי
- מוצאים את STATEMENT ולוחצים על ADD
- מקלידים P21
- בחלון שלידו מקלידים "P21 MALE" או "P21 FEMALE"
- SAVE
- באותה הזדמנות מוסיפם את הSTATMENT P5
- והערך = HUMAN
- SAVE
ב2. פתרון ממוכן
[6] למשל אפשר להשתמש בו כדי לקבוע את כל הערכים שבקטגוריה "טניסאיות". אבל הוא לא יודע לייצר ערכים חדשים.

- היכנס לכלי [7] AutoList2
- שורה ראשונה: en.wikipedia.org. שורה שניה - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees כלומר: עבור על הרשימה בויקיפדיה האנגלית של הערכים שבקטגוריה הנ"ח
- בשורה WDQ (wikidata query) כתבתי את השאילתה הבאה, שפירושה "רשימת יעולים בויקינתונים שיש להם קישור גם לויקיפדיה עברית וגם לאנגלית

- תחת MODE בחרתי CATEGORY=AND וגם WDQ=AND, כלומר לבצע חיתוך (AND) בין 2 הרשימות.
- למטה בוחרים Format=PageFile ולוחצים RUN
- הרשימה נשמרת במקום סודי וקסום בשם PageFile. אתה מקבל מספר שלו ויכול להשתמש בו בהמשך.
- מהתפריט בחרתי Get Item Names (קישור ישיר [8]).
- בשורה הראשונה כתבתי Exclusive language code=he . בחרתי פורמט ויקיפדיה לחצתי Do It.
