Emanuele Alcaras is currently a Ph.D. student at University of Naples “Parthenope”, Department of Sciences and Technologies. He has a degree in Sciences and Technologies of the Navigation from University of Naples “Parthenope”. He is currently carrying out research activities on Geomatics applications concerning DTM, bathymetric models, remote sensing and GIS applications. He has participated to the research project financed by Campania Region (Italy) called “Study and prototyping of meteo-marine innovative services in support of navigation”. He has carried out an internship on Hydrographic survey and sea-bottom models onboard of Nave Leonardo (Marina Militare Italiana). He has developed teacher activities as lecturer of GIS Laboratory at University of Naples “Parthenope”. He is currently participating to D.O.R.A. project (Deployable Optics for Remote Sensing Applications), with particular interest to data fusion for remote-sensing applications from mini-satellite.
