Mahdi Aiash is a senior lecturer in Computing and Communications Engineering at Middlesex University. He completed a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004; an M.Sc. degree in Computer Networks and Security in 2008; and Ph.D. in Security and QoS for Heterogeneous Networks in 2012 all at Middlesex University, London, UK. His research interests include secure future Internet, network and cybersecurity. He is a computer security researcher and practitioner with industry, academic, and research experience and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Aiash maintains nearly two dozen certifications, including Ethical Hacker, Licenced Pen-tester and Information Security Officer.
