Andrea Sbarbati received his Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ancona in 1982 and his Ph.D. in Neurological and Neurosensory from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 1986. He is a Full Professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Verona (Italy), a former Director of the Department of Neuroscience, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences, and a Member of the Academic Senate of the University of Verona. Also, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the same University. His scientific activity is oriented around mesenchymal stem cells, adipose tissues, and nanotechnologies. He has published more than 356 publications, with an H-Index of 50 and 9875 citations.
