Severino Cavalcanti

Severino José Cavalcanti Ferreira (18 December 1930 – 15 July 2020) was a Brazilian politician. He was born in João Alfredo, Pernambuco. He was a member of the Progressive Party. He was the mayor of João Alfredo between 1964 to 1966 and again from 2009 to 2013. He also was a member of the Chamber of Deputies between 1995 to 2005.

Cavalcanti died on 15 July 2020 from diabetes-related problems, aged 89.[1]
