Unfortunately there's no FOP in France and the architects of this building Eugne Guillaume, Ren Guillaume, and Louis Chouinard died in 1931, 1945, and 1995 respectively. So these images are copyrighted until at least 2066.

This is more complex than expected: the original building was completed in 1909 by Eugne and Ren Guillaume while Louis Chouinard was born in 1907.
This is a newspaper building that occupies a whole block, and the photos in this category depict the Art Nouveau facade that is part of the initial construction.
This government link explains that Chouinard started new constructions in 1949, without explicitely describing them.
I'll try to contact someone there, please wait before deleting: it is likely that this category photographed only the work of the Guillaume architects. Romainbehar (talk) 06:38, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Chouinard only worked on new buildings, using a rationalist style. Ouest-France's headquarters is far from this style. it is unclear what Chouinard did there, but it could be refurbishing the inside of the building, which is way different that what you would expect from an 1909 building. Speedy keep it's very easy to find old photos (like this one or these ones) to see that the building is mostly unchanged and any small changes would fall under COM:DM (which is not surprising, as a listed buildings, any major change would be illegal). Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 11:17, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There's clearly been things added to building. We'll have to agree to disagree though, but I will point out that this user recently closed a similar DR out of process after another French user threatened to contact them on my talk page. Which is clearly an abuse of their privileges and the only reason they are now participating in this. As well as being hounding. --Adamant1 (talk) 11:21, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamant1: which changes? and do you have any proof 1. they have been made by Louis Chouinard 2. they are protected by copyright? I did not close this DR already out of respect for you but in both cases, there is no chance that these photos will be deleted. Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 11:32, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really feel like doing a line by line of every single thing that's different about the building. Whomever closes this can compare the photos. There's clearly artist elements that have been added to the front of it since the photo you linked to was taken though. And yeah, I'm sure you didn't close this out of respect and not because it wouldn't look good after the ANU complaint. Right. --Adamant1 (talk) 11:41, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy keep same position. COM:DM will be applied here maybe excepted for File:Marquise de l'ancien sige du journal Ouest-France Rennes.jpg. Lyon-St-Clair (talk) 16:58, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The marquise is visible on pre-war photos.:) Trizek from FR 09:32, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok, thanks:) Lyon-St-Clair (talk) 16:19, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy keep per arguments already given. Trizek from FR 09:32, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion. See above. --Yann (talk) 09:34, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
