Sarıyaqub is a village located in the Yeni Bayazid district of the Iravan Governorate, present-day Basarkechir (Vardenis) region. It is situated approximately 10 km southeast of the district center, near the Mezra River. The village is marked on the 5-verse map of the Caucasus.
Jaghatsadzor (Ջաղացաձոր) is a village in the Vardenis Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. In 1988-1989 Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan settled in the village.
